Makeing Money Online : As i see it

If you are reading this, you probably have tried some of the get rich quick online methods or are looking for one. There is nothing wrong if you want to make money sitting at home, being your own boss. But, i can tell from my experience, there is nothing like 'get rich quick' in the online marketing business.

When i began online marketing about a year back, i tried all those useless methods like take paid surveys, get paid to read e-mails, get paid to recieve SMS, data-entry jobs and lots of other nonsense. The way as i see it, weather paid or free, all the methods that we talked about now are FAKE! They wont give you any money. They would just utilize your time and your contacts to promote their products/services for free.

Let me first tell you how i found an online income source.I tried to find some new ways and tried searching for some part-time work-from-home jobs on job portals like Naukri, Monstor and others. Finally, about six months back i found a decent part-time online job wherein i sell my articles to a Tech Blog. Starting with a small number of articles, i slowly reached to a monthly pocket money of Rs.3000-5000.

And now, i am working on starting my own website soon. With a few good ideas in mind, a good handbook or a good guide to learn online marketing terms and tactics is a must for starting your own website. I searched for all sorts of such guides (paid or free) but could not find one easily until one of my friends twitted about a website called Sensonize. The guy has put up some great information about online marketing and some honest ways to make it work. MyChipper : Easiest way to track your expenses

We all have been through times when we just loose track of our expenses and get the know of it only at the end of the month. Well i have finally found a tool to track my expenses and also a bar-chart representation of my expenses.

The tool is a website dubbed mychipper.com. It has a user-friendly simple interface to input your daily expenses. You can also input the information about your borrowed/lent money. There is option for recurring expenses too wherein your account automatically updates your expenses on weekly/monthly/daily/yearly basis. Expenses like monthly bills, daily travel bills, passes, membership charges can be put in the category of recurring expenses.

One can also enter the expense detail through mobile, Orkut and Gtalk apart from the website. Another advantage is that the website is new so user names like james, kunal or disha are available easily.

What one would really miss here is the option to track input money. No option for the source of money and hence you would have to calculate the available balance manually. We hope that function will be available soon.
